ADVOCACY

Simulation is not enough; to be truly effective, we must shape the public Whether the goal is to influence a certain course of action, regulations, or assessment of decision-makers, advocacy is a fundamental tool to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Our MUN is designed to inspire and influence delegates to advocate for change through the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) and demand a committed political action towards grave and pertinent issues that threatens our peaceful co-existence, humanitarian efforts, human rights, educational system, environmental sustainability and gender equality.

Under the current global political landscape, diplomacy has become a weak tool that doesn’t work as a real influencer due to most of our leaders trying to sell a world based on political friendship. CUNS advocacy will see results by instilling strong and solid structures in which there would be international joint efforts and actions against leadership crisis and deficiency; influence an innovative citizenship engagement by involving individuals, communities, CSO’s and institutions that work as drivers for political stability and peace-building.
